The benefit of learning from trackers is that this information can help guide you on your journey to find actions you can take in your own life. This might include lifestyle changes or trying new types of activism. If you are already an activist, then the information may help you choose your next steps of style of activism.
Information found by tracking government activities can be useful when communicating about important issues, or the information itself may be so important that it needs to be communicated as its own issue.
Contacting your representatives about the topics that are important to you, helps them understand how they should vote and what you expect them to do as public servants.
We can use tracking apps to help us keep an eye on how well they are representing us and our interests, as well as the actions of their fellow politicians. Sometimes when we reach out to one leader, they can help sway or oppose other politicians who are not upholding the standards that we want from our leaders.
Whistleblowers can help keep trackers accurate and up-to-date.
