This effects plants from low growing crops to our tallest trees. Acid rain not only damages buildings and historic statues, but also aquatic ecosystems including coral and oyster reefs as it contributes to ocean acidification.

While there has been an astonishing amount of gaslighting from the fossil fuel industries telling humanity to "go-green" and take on the responsibility of climate change, allowing the industries to continue on with business as usual. While we need to push for legal, industrial, and infrastructure level reforms, scientific research has shown that those of us who choose to "walk the walk" by living a greener lifestyle, can in fact help make at least a small dent in our fight against pollution and climate change.

Mow Down Pollution Exchange Program "The Regional Air Quality Council has launched the Mow Down Pollution – exchange program as part of their efforts to mitigate ground-level ozone and enhance air quality. This initiative offers vouchers to support individuals and organizations who opt to recycle their gas-powered lawn equipment and replace it with rechargeable or corded electric-powered alternatives.
