The Student Conservation Association: Career Discovery Internship Program "Positions are available in a variety of fields, including visitor services, education, natural resource management and more.
To participate, applicants must be incoming college sophomores and juniors. Students who are Black, Alaskan Native, American Indian, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic or other racial minority are highly encouraged to apply.
Interns will first attend a week-long orientation held in May and then serve in summer internships tailored to various U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service career tracks for 12 weeks at various sites across the country."

White House: Climate Corps "President Biden is announcing a new initiative to train young people in high-demand skills for jobs in the clean energy economy. The American Climate Corps will put a new generation of Americans to work conserving our lands and waters, bolstering community resilience, advancing environmental justice, deploying clean energy, implementing energy efficient technologies, and tackling climate change. American Climate Corps members will gain the skills necessary to access good-paying jobs that are aligned with high-quality employment opportunities after they complete their paid training or service program."

NYC CoolRoofs Initiative "provides New Yorkers with paid training and work experience installing energy-saving reflective rooftops. The program supports the City of New York's goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
This initiative is a partnership between the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS), its Workforce1 Industrial & Transportation Career Center, the Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice and The HOPE Program."

Rural Action seeks AmeriCorps members for its environmental education and watershed projects at the Rural Action Northern office in Tuscarawas County. These are six-month positions that include a living stipend, medical insurance, and an education award.
These positions will be based at the Rural Action Northern office in Mineral City, Ohio, and the terms are February 2022 through August 2022.
Members selected for service will be eligible to receive:
A living stipend paid bi-weekly amounting to $8,471 over the term
An equipment, travel/mileage reimbursement, and training budget paid by Rural Action
Medical insurance during term of service
An education award (for past or upcoming educational costs/loans) totaling $3,172
Federal student loan deferment during term of service"
