Grants for Trikes (might only be for people in the UK?)
Tomcat Special Needs Innovations Ltd "This business was created out of the desire to help just one little boy experience the joy, normality and freedom of exploring the outdoors on wheels.
Tomcat’s founder, Bob Griffin quickly discovered that no other company manufactured trikes of the right design to properly support physical disabilities.
It began a journey of discovery and invention that’s spanned more than two decades and resulted in creating life-changing solutions for over 10,000 people of all ages."
Brittle Bone Society "society supports individuals and their families affected by Osteogenesis Imperfecta throughout the UK and Ireland.
It offers advice, information and resources as well as support grants.
The charity is able to part fund manual and powered wheelchairs, trikes, buggies and other types of equipment."
AFK (Action for Kids) "supports disabled children and young people up to 26 years to develop their mobility, personal and independent living skills.
It supplies a variety of mobility equipment not available through the NHS. This includes powered, manual and sports wheelchairs, walkers, trikes, scooters and car seats."
The Andrew and Catherine Carter Trust "provides financial assistance towards equipment, adaption of housing or transport to disabled individuals of any age in the UK.
Items must not be available from statutory sources such as social services or NHS. Funding will not be given retrospectively."
Caudwell Children "provides family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.
The organisation has seven core services including: Equipment Services - It helps with the purchase of mobility equipment and sensory equipment. Including wheelchairs, mobility buggies, therapy tricycles and specialised car seats"
Cerebral Palsy Plus "A grant scheme for adults and children with Cerebral Palsy living in Bristol and the surrounding area (open to anyone with a BS postcode).
The grant criteria is really broad - you just have to have Cerebral Palsy, a BS postcode and be asking for something that health or social care don't have a statutory duty to provide."
Children Today "helps disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.
It provides grants for specialist equipment and aids such as communication aids, educational toys, trikes, lifting equipment and electric wheelchairs
Applications must be made direct by the applicant, their parents or guardian by calling 01244-335622 to discuss their application.
A reference from someone who works with your child in a professional capacity (occupational therapist, teacher, social worker, doctor, etc) will be required."
The Elifar Foundation "funds a wide range of specialised equipment and respite for children and adults with with any form of physical or learning disability.
Items funded in the past include: Wheelchairs, beds, specialised seating , trikes, communication aids, sensory equipment and specialised holidays for the disabled."
Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund "provides grants to disabled children and families in North East England for specialised equipment, wheelchair, trikes, resources and learning aids.
Lifeline 4 Kids "Kids helps disabled children from birth to 18 years.
It provides support to purchase a range of resources such as communication aids, wheelchairs and specialist computer equipment.

If you fulfil the charity's criteria an application form will be sent requiring further information, supporting reports from health professionals and financial statements."
Make a Wish Foundation "grants wishes to children and young people between the ages of 3 and 17 years who have not received a wish from another charity.
Applications may be made direct by the parents or a professional. Referrals may be made by post or through the on-line wish referral form.
The Foundation will then contact the child's Consultant to establish eligibility."
Muscular Dystrophy UK "The Muscular Dystrophy UK provides grants for both children and adults with muscle disease through the Joseph Patrick Trust (JPT).
It is able to part fund equipment such as manual and electric wheelchairs, trikes, assistive technology, therapy equipment and electric beds."
Scampps "Scampps offers support to families of children with complex and special needs living in Surrey.
It provides funding for specialist equipment, trikes and bikes, specialist car seats, hearing equipment, sensory toys and much more.

Applications will need to be supported by a therapist or paediatrician treating the child."
The Victoria Foundation (TVF) "is medical charity based in Richmond in Surrey, which funds mobility aids for individuals, schools and organisations which support children and young people.
It funds a wide range of mobility aids including lightweight wheelchairs, specialist trikes and buggies to children and young people up to 18 years of age. It funds all disabilities.
Priority for funding is given towards residents of the Boroughs of Richmond and Kingston, Greater London and Surrey."
